Finally, I took an afternoon and edited these photographs! My friend Heather, who I've talked about before, was so fantastic and took them for us last October! I wanted to do something like this for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. I was starting to get kinda jealous of the photos I was taking of other people's families and really wanted to capture mine at this stage in our life. Photographing a dog can be a real big hassle. So I saved Heather the headache and left Mowgli out this time.

I also learned something about myself from this experience. I am a horrible photography subject. I feel really bad because I was pretty bossy and controlling over the whole thing. I knew what I wanted (poses, angles, looks, mood). Heather and I agreed we should do it again some day. BUT, I am vowing to not control our next shoot and to let Heather be in charge! I can't wait. So even though they are 5 months overdue, I'm excited to share my favorites.

I love him more and more every day.
