Family Haircut

Today, Travis' parents, sister and her husband came to church with us.  We really love when they come to Orchard Hill for worship.  We've enjoyed being a part of that church, and getting connected with small group, classes, and serving in the children's classes.  It's fun to share that excitement with our family.

So, how many people does it take to cut hair?

Well in the Schrage family, it takes 3.  I'm not sure who decided Tim (Trav's dad) needed a haircut.  But he got one!  Both Travis and his brother gave themselves buzz cuts this summer, but tim wanted something a bit longer.  Callie, Travis, and myself combined as much knowledge of cutting hair that we could muster up.  This is the only picture I got of anything resembling the final product.  Should have gotten a true before and after picture, but the "in process" ones will have to do.
We grilled cheeseburgers, our favorite, and had some sides including CHIPS AND DIP!!!  If you don't know (how couldn't you)  chips are my ultimate favorite food, so I was pleased.  Spent a lot of time watching Mowgli run around chasing random things.  He absolutely loves to run straight through my flowers.  Not that they looked great by any means before, but now they are ALL basically laying on the ground.  You would think an animal would run around something, not our pup.  He wants to barrel right in to them and flop over onto them.

I'm trying to make this blog not become entirely about our dog, but you may have to bare with me for the next couple of weeks.  I'm just so excited, and want to share everything about him!

I'm impressed by what I could see of the "finished product." Sounds like a fun day. I can tell you're enjoying your yard - you're outside a lot! :)
