Short Weekend

This weekend felt a bit short, but we did seem to cram a lot in to it!  Travis and I have been doing date night on Friday nights.  It's nice at the end of the week to get home at 5:00 and not have to cook.  I have actually really enjoyed cooking dinner for Travis, but it feels like a nice treat to go to a  restaurant when the work week is done.  We did Godfathers! mmmmm

This Saturday might have been the first day ever I found my husband doing some hard core cleaning without being asked!  I was tickled.  So i jumped right in to help and encourage him to keep going :)  We got a couple of trips to the dog park in :)  It's funny, we think there are a group of "regulars" that congregate in the same area of the park.  They know each other, and each other's dogs.  Mowgli did get picked on this time, by a dog half his size!  

We did dinner and a movie with our friends Nick and Angelina.  We haven't hung out with them in a long time due to conflicting schedules, so it was nice to catch up!  Angelina asked me to take a quick picture of their little family for Christmas cards... I couldn't resist the Fonz!

7 loads!!!  That's how much laundry I got done this weekend... that's alot, right?  Especially for not having any kids.  I loved our church service this week.  It was actually about giving/ tithing/ offering.  Normally I don't enjoy those as much.  But I thought the teacher did an amazing job with talking about it.  It really makes us examine what our excuses are for maybe not giving enough.
