First... Travis is home! He was on a week long ski trip (last week) to Colorado. I'm glad he has these fun things to do, but I miss him terribly when he's gone. Many many people asked me, "why didn't you go with?" I went skiing plenty of times when I was a kid, and I remember it being pretty fun. However, I also remember being on the four-wheeler, going full blast, and being a bit less than cautious. I guess as I've grown up, I've become less of a thrill-seeker and more aware of danger. The speed of skiing is only one thing I don't like. I could talk about cold temperatures for a good paragraph. Maybe this is so fresh in my mind because last winter when Trav and I went skiing, he wore the only goggles we had for 90% of the day.
Why am I scared of the dark? I don't know. Ok, I'm not really scared of the dark, I'm scared of things lurking in the dark. This has always been a strange issue of mine. I have somewhat forgotten about it because of sharing a bed with Travis. When he was gone, I MAY have had the puppy protect me in bed. I would put him at the foot of my bed when we fell asleep, and he always managed to scoot up to Travis' pillow :)
I got to hang out with a lot of great friends while he was gone, but I was super pumped to hang out with my friend Emily. We were tighter than BFF's in high school, and then we both went off to college, we became disconnected. She moved back to our home town after her last semester of college in December. We've gotten together a few times, and it's been soo much fun to hang out. Mowgli even made a new friend!
This is Emily's new puppy, Tucker. He is just the sweetest little doggie! I think he's about 12-ish weeks. Mowgli LOVES him, although Mowgli loves pretty rough... so the verdict is still out if Tucker loves Mowgli as much.
Friend... what are you doing?
I DO love you!
