Pool party

Yesterday was Briana's birthday (my brother's fiance).  So we invited ourselves over to their house for a little last minute pool party to celebrate!  Lincoln looked too cute, so I had to take a photo of him before we even left the house.  Travis ran to the store quick before we left to get the birthday girl some cupcakes.  He was a tad disappointed when he came home and we weren't yet ready to go.  He later found out it was because of my tiny photo shoot.

I have yet to take Lincoln to a real pool.  I was hesitant because I wasn't sure if he would tolerate the cold water or if he would like anything about being in a big pool.  This was the perfect place to try out.  He had a lot of fun splashing and kicking.  Now I'm excited to take him to the real pool... whenever I get over the fact that I have to pay about 10 bucks for us both to get in for maybe an hour :)

Taking a break in the shade.  I had our little babe super sun-proofed with UV protected hat and shirt and sunblock on all the other parts.  Too bad I completely forgot about myself and burnt my shoulders.  What a fun day.  We'll be sure to invite ourselves over again soon!
