Birklie Hope (Waterloo/ Cedar Falls child photographer)

This babe is so special to me. She is the daughter of VERY wonderful friends. It was so nice to get to hang out with them on Saturday. The older I get, the faster a year seems to go by. I feel like it was just a few months ago she was born.
Those teeth! :) What a sweetie.
Birklie would NOT stay still :) She just had her first birthday last weekend but has been walking for quite awhile now. She couldn't stay still for anything. Luckily we had a few options to keep her contained. We only had a few minutes until she figured would what we were doing and got MAD :) It's a good thing she's over the top cute!
Almost 2 years ago Birklie's grammie had a garage sale and sold some of her own baby things. This high chair was one of the items I snatched up! You can see the other HERE in one of my VERY first photo shoots. I'm excited to use both these items this summer outside. I have a few babies that will be between 6 months and 1 year, the perfect age for these 2 props :)


We had so many fun things planned for Birklie's 1 year photo shoot. Birklie didn't think they were so fun though! hahah. Besides photographing kids, a big part of this job is being able to think creatively on your toes! No two photo shoots ever go the same, that's for sure!
